Dresden Piano, Avalon Beach Sydney,Photo of Piano on Fire against the ocean,photography by paul green, musical instrument series, this piano had been made in Dresden Germany in about 1900,it had found its way to Sydney where it had been used in the bars and clubs of Kings Cross, the bohemian and red light district of Sydney,it had big wheels attached to the bottom to move it from venue to venue and a very avant guarde paint job. It had "dresden Piano" stamped on its iron frame.exhibition image once hung in the Piano room nightclub in Kings Cross Sydney. original print now missing
